Medical doctor and specialist in clinical
Former position as specialist, consultant and
associate professor at the Department of Clinical Biochemistry,
Aarhus University Hospital and University of Aarhus.
Research & development
I have previously worked with e.g. cardiovascular
epidemiology, including genetic epidemiology, and with
calcium-transport in muscle cells.
My current interests and/or research relates to quality and
patient safety in health care:
Using text mining (analytics) with electronic health records to
identify risks of adverse events and the prevalence of events.
The association between deaths and the quality of health care in
Health-IT and patient safety.
